Our Animals are raised on a 100% vegetarian diet. They are treated with respect and care on our free-range farm in Sussex County New Jersey. We take pride in the quality animals we raise to sell to our customers

Ostrich

We incubate, hatch, and raise our birds on our farm in Sussex County New Jersey.
What we sell:

• Ostriches 2 years old and up
• We do not sell ostrich chicks
• We do not sell fertile ostrich eggs

Bison

What we sell:

• Variable ages and weights available
• We do not sell Bison Calves

Berkshire Hogs

What we sell:

• Feeder pigs available up to 60 pounds

Delivery

We have delivery service available for the livestock you purchase from our farm. Delivery fee is based upon type of animal, trailer size, weight, and distance. Please call for more information.

Hauling

We offer nationwide custom hauling for your animals. Pricing will depend upon the type of animal, trailer size, weight, and distance. Please call for more information.

Consultation

Todd Appelbaum, Owner of Roaming Acres farm has been raising ostriches since 1993. He is a Board Member of the American Ostrich Association. Todd’s many years of experience raising and working with ostriches make him a unique resource for anyone beginning with these birds or for those who are having issues. He will consult about incubation, hatching, chick care, breeding, general care, nutrition, and farm set up. Todd is available for phone consultation or property visits.
